Originally from Northern California, Nisha Patel earned a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis in 2017. She then worked at the University of California San Francisco’s Comprehensive Cancer Center in the Genitourinary Medical Oncology department as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University’s School of Nursing to earn her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2019. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Nisha is involved with clinical research at Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute where she works with chronic myeloid leukemia patients to better understand medication adherence patterns and clinical outcomes. She volunteers at the Community Advanced Practice clinic in downtown Atlanta to provide free healthcare services to low-income and uninsured individuals. In her free time, Nisha enjoys baking, cooking new recipes, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family.
Here at our office, Nisha is committed to serving patients as an infusion nurse where she is able to devote her utmost attention to each patient, offer her compassion and care, and personalize each individual’s infusion experience. She enjoys working with the team to deliver quality patient care, as well as educate patients about their conditions and infusion medications.
